Begin your day early for an adventurous journey to Baratang Island (Middle Andaman), located approximately 120 km north of Port Blair. The journey takes about 3.5 hours due to speed restrictions within the Tribal Reserve Area.
This scenic route passes through dense rainforests — home to one of the world's oldest surviving tribes, the Jarawa (a Negrito tribe). Please note that any form of interaction, photography, or exchange of items with the Jarawa is strictly prohibited under the Protection of Aboriginal Tribes (PAT) regulation. Violators are liable for heavy penalties and imprisonment.
